Procedure for Expungement
So how does the expungement process work?
The process occurs in four stages:
| [1] | nitial Consultation with Attorney: You will have a free, half-hour initial consultation with an attorney at KMF who will review the circumstances of your case and advise you whether you are eligible to have your conviction for underage drinking expunged from your criminal record and your Pennsylvania driving record. | |||||||

Document Collection and Petition Preparation: If the attorney determines that you are eligible for expungement of your underage drinking conviction, the attorney will ask you to collect and submit the following information:

| [3] | Preparation of the Court Petition: After determining that you are eligible for expungement and collecting all relevant information, the attorney will prepare a Petition to be submitted in the court of the county where you were convicted of underage drinking. | |||||||
| [4] | Hearing and Disposition: After submitting the petition, you may be required to appear along with the attorney at a hearing before the court of the county where you were convicted of underage drinking. At this hearing, the court will determine whether you are legally entitled to have your criminal record and Pennsylvania Driving Record expunged of the conviction for underage drinking. | |||||||
